The National will soon release their sixth LP, Trouble Will Find Me, on May 20 in the UK and May 21 in the US via 4AD. Here you can watch a making of video for the cover art, which features one of the tracks off the album called “Demons”.

A band of skeletons perform with Islands’ front man Nick Thorburn, in his latest video for “Hallways”, taken from the new album, A Sleep & A Forgetting. Directed by Lex Halaby and Toben Seymour.
The official video for the Foals track “My Number” was a live performance set in a club. It’s quite enjoyable in its own right, but it didn’t have the wow factor that this one does. Using numbers and the outlines of computer animation (think connect the dots), it’s a surreal and unique effect that makes this one of the best videos I’ve seen so far this year. Directed by Us.

February is just full of surprises. First the long awaited My Bloody Valentine album, m b v, was finally released after twenty two years, and now we have new music from The Postal Service! Their much beloved debut (and only album), Give Up, soundtracked the lives of many young adolescents such as myself, and this month marks its tenth anniversary. This is a new track called “A Tattered Line of String” from the deluxe re-issue of Give Up, available on April 9 via Sub Pop.
